Riding Lessons for Kids
Our riding lessons aim to create a safe yet fun environment for children to learn all about how to ride, care for and handle ponies.
With private and group lessons available, and great instructors, Belmont Farm offers the perfect introduction to the ‘horsey world.’

FAQs
-
Yes, absolutely.
-
Yes. Belmont Farm does not supply a riding helmet, but they are required to ride at our facility. Get in touch with us if you are unsure where to buy one that meets the current safety standards. For helmets, it’s best not to buy them second hand, in case their structural integrity has been compromised following a fall (you won’t be able to see all damage externally).
We recommend gumboots, or shoes with a small heel for riding, if you don’t have riding boots.

Lessons run on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays after school, or on a Saturday.

“Just wanted to also mention how happy she is (and we are) with her development so far. She has improved so much and was even more confident going over the jumps yesterday afternoon. Holly has been a great teacher. So thank you..”
